yuriQa was born out of equal parts inspiration and frustration. Having worked hands-on in Travel Management on both sides of the supply chain for more than 20 years, our co-Founder Philippa Johns has seen first-hand the challenges that Travel Managers and Travel Agencies face trying to extract insights from data that can inform or support business decisions, in time to take action.
Collaborating with veteran Business Intelligence and Information Management specialist Brad Riley and a team of agile developers, yuriQa was developed from the ground up to answer the ‘So what” questions from data for Corporate Travel Managers, Travel Agencies and Travel Management Companies, By using technology to do the heavy lifting on analysis and by ingraining travel management best practices, we set out to surface meaningful insights as they occurred so that time could be spent actioning the insights, and not on creating them.
Travel Agencies and Travel Management Companies, By using technology to do the heavy lifting on analysis and by ingraining travel management best practices, we set out to surface meaningful insights as they occurred so that time could be spent actioning the insights, and not on creating them.
In 2018 Virtual Travel Manager analyses more than $1billion in spend growing at an average rate of nearly 20% each month, with customers in 8 countries.
The next phase of our story is to leverage Artificial Intelligence to make the delivery of actionable insights even easier and our R&D project is underway.
Prior to founding yuriQa in 2016, Philippa founded The Business Travel Consulting Group in 2003 to help organisations to improve their Travel Management and business performance. In that business, she was passionate about making data insights actionable and giving clients the information that they needed in time to take action.
In yuriQa, the proprietary technology builds on this, making it faster for customers to access need-to-know insights from an unlimited big data set.
